The coolest easter eggs you'll ever make

It's that time of year again for one of our favorite spring holidays. Every year we gather with family, eat some yummy food and enjoy the warm weather (well, hopefully the weather is warm). This year we we found a way to add a little pizazz to the normal tradition of Easter with these two new fun ways to do eggs to Pinterest perfection. So, grab your friends or siblings, boil some eggs and get ready for some springtime fun.

Shaving Cream Easter Eggs

You'll need: hard boiled eggs • foam shaving cream • liquid food coloring dye • a glass, metal, or tin pan or dish • popsicle stick or small narrow stick • newspapers

Directions

First, put down some newspaper to prevent any mess from happening. Then, you are going to take the shaving cream and spray a layer of it in to the bottom of the pan and spread it until it as smooth as possible. Spread the cream as smooth as possible to coat the bottom of the pan. Next, take your colors of choice and randomly place drops all over the shaving cream. The more random the pattern, the better the result. Take your stick and drag it through the shaving cream, mixing the colors together slightly and making a funky pattern. After you finished your design, roll or dab each egg around the pan until it is covered. Gently pick up your egg and place it to the side for about 10 minutes until it dries. Finally, gently wipe off the eggs and voila!

Egg-painted Canvas

For this one, you might want to grab some more newspaper or go outdoors, because things could get messy.

You'll need: a canvas • emptied eggshells • paint • tissue paper • glue, preferably a glue stick

Directions

To begin, make sure that all of the egg is removed from the eggshell, with a hole at the top of the shell. Then, fill the eggs with your paint color of choice. The more colors, the prettier your picture will be. Your work of art is all up to you. Once the eggs are filled, place a piece of tissue paper with glue over each egg opening. After the glue is done drying, take out your canvas and have at it! Egg your canvas until you have the perfect abstract Easter masterpiece. Let it dry and hang it up anywhere in the house.
