3 easy face masks you can make at home
Everyone loves a good face mask. Taking care of your skin is one of the best things you can do for yourself, but it can be a challenge when some face masks are *super* expensive.
But what if we told you there were three great face masks hiding right in your kitchen. Yep, seriously. These DIY face masks are made from ingredients that you can find right at home!
Avocado face mask
For this mask you'll need avocado, honey and oats. To create it, simply mash the avocado and add the honey, then mix in the oats. Avocados are infused with Vitamin E and natural oils that easily absorb into the skin, while honey helps soften the skin and fight acne. The oats are optional, but provide a soothing, exfoliating affect on your skin.
Oat face mask
For this face mask, all you need are oats, baking soda and water. The baking soda works as a detoxifier to help get rid of acne while the oats are anti-inflammatory, soothing and exfoliating. Once the mask dries completely, you're good to wash it off.
Turmeric and yogurt face mask
This face mask includes four simple ingredients: yogurt (plain), honey, turmeric and lemon juice. Turmeric, which is a spice, helps calm the skin and reduce redness, the lemon juice is added as a skin brightener and honey helps to soften skin. The main ingredients, yogurt, is the real kicker here, though. Because it contains lactic acid, yogurt is a soft exfoliator that gently gets rid of dead skin cells.
