Sleepover Around the World!

Ready for a break? Go international--minus airfare and customs--with a night of country-hopping cultural experiences from all over the world.

Stop #1: Sicily, Italy

Time to try out some exotic Italian dishes that will tease your taste buds and leave ‘em beggin’ for more!

1. Cook up this our GL recipe for penne with salami and peas! It’s got a delish mix of protein and even some veggies so it’s not only good for your health—your tummy would enjoy it, too.

2. If you’re in the mood to satisfy your sweet tooth, try out this recipe for Cookie Pizza for a twist on your traditional pie! You can add fruit, sweets, or anything you want to make this mini “pizza” your own!

Stop #2: Sydney, Australia

Woo hoo! Time to visit the famous Opera house! Bust out the microphones and brush up on those chords, 'cause it’s karaoke night! You know how it works. You can even make it like American Idol, with three judges who can score you on how well you work it. For even more fun, try singing your fave song in an Australian accent! See which Sheila is the best, mate!

Stop #3: Cairo, Egypt

One of the seven man-made wonders of the world is the Great Pyramid in Giza, which now stands at 455.22 feet (that’s about 45 and a half stories) tall! Think you can do better than the Egyptians? Get as many pillows as you can and see who can build the tallest pillow pyramid! Try using as few pillows as you can, and see who wins!

Stop #4: New York, New York

We finish our world-wide trip with a U.S. spot known for its movies and musical productions. Hello, Broadway? Bust out your fave musical movies, like Annie, Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors or even Phantom of the Opera! You can sing-along, dance-along, even have sparkly clothing to wear as your Broadway costumes! After the movie, you could even put on your own musical! Make it about romance, horror, action…the possibilities are endless!

BLOG IT OUT! Have you ever been to an exotic local? What’s your favorite hot spot abroad?
