The best thing to ever hit your taste buds: Caramel pudding

In honor of all the yummy desserts this season has to offer, we're sharing one of our faves: Caramel pudding -- because who wouldn't want induldge in this tasty fall treat after school? Filled with whipped cream, caramel sauce and chocolate cookies, you'll be sweetly surprised, we promise. So, you ready to make some delicious pudding? 

Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 box chocolate cookie

How to make it:

Take half a pack of chocolate cookies of your choice and break them up into smaller pieces. Then place them into seperate cups filling about an inch from bottom to top.

Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 vanilla bean extract
  • 1 1/4 heavy cream
  • 1 piece gelatin

How to make it:

Add your sugar, milk, vanilla bean and heavy cream and bring them to a boil on low. Heat to just under boiling and remove from heat. Then, add a piece of gelatin and stir to dissolve. Once everything is mixed and ready, pour hald way into each cup over the crushed cookies.

Caramel sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 1/2 tbsp butter

How to make it: 

Combine the sugar and water over medium-low until the sugar dissolves. After the color is changes to a lighter tan color, remove the sugar from the heat and add the heavy cream and whisk them gently. Add butter and stir until it gets thicker and transfer into your cup ontop of the pudding.

Whipped cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

 

How to make it:

Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk into the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. Then add some sugar and heavy cream and beat together until it is stif. Place a spoonful of whipped cream on top of the caramel sauce and sprinkle some left over crumbled cookies on top.
