5 easy recipes you can *actually* make yourself

POV: It's two hours after getting home from school and you need to make dinner, but you're tired of boxed mac and cheese. If you think you can't cook, we're here to tell you that you're wrong. You can cook! It just might take a little extra time to get really good. So we've compiled five easy recipes that are *perfect* if you're just getting into cooking.

1. Breakfast quesadillas 

For the days when breakfast for dinner just sounds right, a breakfast quesadilla is *totally* the way to go. Easy, quick and delicious. This recipe looks amaze!

What you'll need:
Egg
Tortilla
Butter
Cheese
Salt
Avocado or other veggies (optional)
Bacon or ham (optional)

2. Fried rice

Are you left with tons of rice after getting your fave takeout food? Use it to try out some *delicious* fried rice. It's way less complicated than it seems, we promise. Check this recipe out!

What you'll need:
White rice (preferably a day or two old)
Soy Sauce
Butter
Vegetable oil
Egg
Carrots
Peas
Your protein of choice (chicken, tofu, shrimp, steak)
Water chestnuts 

3. Kale salad (trust us, it's good)

Don't stop reading. Kale is good! (At least in this recipe.) It's one of the easiest and best salads ever. Cut your kale, mix in some goat cheese and add your fave toppings. Easy as that—enjoy!

What you'll need:
Kale
Goat cheese
Cranberries
Farro
Walnuts or pecans (optional)

4. Ramen (and not just the boxed kind)

When are you not in the mood for some ah-mazing ramen? As good as instant ramen can be, it's *so* easy to level up your ramen game. We love this recipe!

What you'll need is:
Ramen broth
Seasoning 
Noodles (yes, they can be instant)
Toppings: choice of protein, nori, carrots, edamame, egg, mushrooms, ginger

5. Loaded nachos 

Calling all nacho lovers! One of the best and easiest at-home meals is nachos. But not just chips with a bit of cheese—we are talking restaurant style nachos here. It's *so* easy to microwave your fave tortilla chips and some creamy cheeses. All you need are the delicious toppings. Super quick, super easy and super yummy! Check out this recipe!

What you'll need:
Tortilla chips 
Shredded cheese
Sour cream, guacamole, any salsa, hot sauce
Corn
Chicken, beef or non-meat alternative 
Tomato
Olives
Beans
Avocado
