Looking for the perfect food to nix that salty/sweet/crunchy craving, but still wanna keep it healthy? We have your perf snack list organized by event and craving!

At the pool
Its hot, and you're chilling with your friends poolside. You need some yummy finger food that is packable and share-able.

Sweet: Fruit salad. So easy to make, then just throw it in a plastic container and go! Add in whatever summer fruit you love--berries, grapes, and nectarine are sure to satisfy your sweettooth. Bring a few forks for your pals too.

Salty: Watermelon and feta cheese. Sounds crazy, but having a couple chunks of feta with you melon adds a yummy bit of saltiness.

Chocolatey: Greek yogurt with a couple of chocolate chips and graham cracker crumbles sprinkled in.

At work
Face it. To bolster your BTS shopping budget, you probably need a summer job--and you're bound to get hungry, whether you're watching crazy toddlers or answering the phone in an office.

Sweet: A baggie of cereal with some dried fruit. It’s like DIY granola, but healthier!

Crunchy: Get some good whole-grain organic crackers that you can easily pack and nosh on.

Refreshing: Apples. You'll need something to wake you up by the time 3 o'clock rolls around. Apples are super-easy to pack and eat, plus, they're full of good-for-ya fiber!

Hanging with friends
No doubt you'll be chillin' with your chicas at your house--and be bored AND hungry. These snacks are fun to whip up when you need some fuel.

Sweet: Homemade popsicles! These are super fun, and, when you make 'em yourself, super healthy. Use your fave fruits, juices, and anything else freezable.

Salty: Kale chips. It may sound crazy, but these are really crunchy, salty, and delish! You can buy some from your supermarket, or try making them yourself. There are dozens of recipes online.

Refreshing: Make a tall pitcher of iced tea with lemon or seltzer water with lots of fruit and mint. Lotsa times you might feel hungry, but are actually just super thirsty. Happy sipping.
