3 yummy 'n' healthy frozen treats for your Dad's Day BBQ

Rant alert: The other day I went to the grocery store and, in addition to all my healthy faves, I bought a carton of ice cream. Or so I thought....
When I got home and read the label, I discovered I’d been duped. The container in front of me was labeled “frozen dairy dessert” and when I read the nutritional label, it was loaded with icky chemicals. Gross. That’s why I’m sharing some better-for-you frozen treats that’ll keep you cool this Father's Day and every BBQ through Labor Day.
Delish sorbet
OK, so fruit-based sorbets aren’t as creamy as their milky counterparts but if the flavors are good enough, it sooo doesn’t matter. I heart Ciao Bella in Mango or Blood Orange, because they pack plenty of zing.
Frozen fruit salad
We dig frozen grapes and icy blueberries are endlessly pop-able. Why not throw a few of your faves in a Ziploc, toss them in the freezer and wait until they firm up? When they’re ready, you’ll have a sweet treat that’ll keep ya chilled through and through.
Hot ‘n’ cold peaches
Grilled peaches are truly magical during summer. And if you’re at a BBQ, they’re insanely easy to make (Google a recipe and then ask an adult for help, though. Feel free to cut back on the butter. Ya don’t wanna get burned!). When you serve them, top each one with a dollop of vanilla ice cream—just enough for a cool contrast. These aren’t exactly something you can eat every day, but the dose of fruit will def provide some vital vitamins.
