The RIGHT Way to Eat a Healthy Breakfast!

There’s no way around it—breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. We’ve found the right meals to fuel your morning (no matter what you’ve got planned!) so you can get a great jump-start. Peace out, Pop-Tarts.

You have a test first period.
Whip up eggs (it’ll only take a few minutes—promise). Use a bit of olive oil in the pan and scramble a couple eggs with raw baby spinach. Gobble it with a slice of wheat toast. Green tea boosts your noggin, too, so brew a cup and pour it into a travel mug for the ride to school.

The big game is after school.
You need a power-packed breakfast. Make a cup of oatmeal with milk and top it with almonds and blueberries. Chug a glass of OJ for a sweet eye-opener, and start drinking lots of water.

Ya can’t wake up.
The protein in yogurt can give you a jolt of energy. Avoid sweet ones (some have more sugar than ice cream!), and go for plain or Greek varieties. Top it off with cut fruit and high-fiber cereal for crunch.

Oops! You kept hitting snooze.
Slap together our fave out-the-door-in-an-instant sandwich—organic peanut butter on whole wheat bread with a squirt of honey and banana.

Breakfast Isn’t Your Thing?
Try something less breakfast-y, like a tortilla with scrambled eggs, queso and salsa. Or toast a whole-wheat English muffin topped with cheese, ham, peppers and tomatoes. Still not doing it? Smoothie time! CLICK HERE to whip up our fave Berry Good Smoothie recipe.
