Got five minutes? Try out one of these 50 productive things to help improve your life mentally, physically and emotionally.

1. Clean out your school bag or purse.

2. Meditate and breathe deeply.

3. Pick five items from your closet to donate.

4. Read the top headlines of The New York Times.

5. Start a crossword or sudoku puzzle.

6. Write down your top three to-do items for the day.

7. Put away five things in your room.

8. Wash the dishes in the sink.

9. Do 20 pushups, 20 sit-ups and 20 jumping jacks.

10. Sort your laundry.

11. Dust your bookshelf.

12. Make a smoothie with a banana, frozen berries, yogurt and milk.
