How to find ambition after you fail (yes, it's possible!)

Failure is one of lifes hardest lessons. You wanted it—that dream, that goal, that test score—so badly...but things did not work out in your favor. It might seem painful now, but one day you will learn it had to happen. Then, when you are ready, you will get up and try again. Here's how to pick yourself up after you fail.

Make a list
First put your thoughts down on paper. Write what happened: what went right and what went wrong. Make a list of the things you learned and the things you could have done differently. Use this list to reflect.

Forgive yourself
When we fail, we often blame ourselves. But we shouldn't. You shouldn't blame yourself for trying something that didn't work out. Instead, you should be proud of the fact that you tried! You should realize, you are one step and one lesson closer to success.

Refocus your goals
When you are ready, refocus your goals. Envision: What would I do, if I knew I could not fail? How would I approach my dreams, if I knew the answer would always be yes? Really ask yourself: How do I plan to get there?

Try again
Try again, try harder, try until you win. Although, it is easier said than done, it's time for you to move on. It's time for you to let go of everything that's holding you back, from the life you want to live. Chasing a dream seems so scary after heartbreak. But staying stuck in the same place, should seem even scarier.

Let us know how you're chasing your dreams in the comments below!
