How-to: hair removal lotion

I have hair all over my body, but my mom won't let me shave or wax. She said it would be OK if I use hair removal cream or lotion, but I don’t know what to buy. Please help.

I understand why your mom doesn’t want you to start shaving or waxing just yet. Once you start, the hair grows back faster and thicker so it becomes a permanent part of your routine. Lotions are a little less intrusive, not to mention have no risk of pain or cutting yourself.

I suggest Nair, which can be found in most grocery stores or pharmacies, and it’s under 10 bucks! Make sure to ask your mom before you use any products, though. Also, be sure to read the bottle carefully for warnings and direction use. Usually it’ll say to test a small patch of hair first to make sure you’re not allergic.

We want to hear from you! Send us your weirdest body questions here (seriously, we'll answer anything!) and it just might get featured.
