This new line of MuslimGirl breathable nail polish is *everything*

In the Muslim community, nail polish is a huge no-no for women and girls that follow halal guidelines. Traditional nail polish creates a barrier that ritual prayer water can not pass through and, because it’s Islamic procedure to wash every part of the body before prayer, some Muslim girls aren't able to paint their nails. No manis...ever?! Yikes.

But that's about to change. Orly and MuslimGirl collaborated to create halal-certified polish (aka #HalalPaint) and we are *all* about it. It's a breathable nail polish that allows oxygen and hydration to pass through so that water can reach and clean the nail bed.

The six-polish sets are about more than just making pretty tips accessible for everyone...they're also a great step forward for better representation in the beauty industry for Muslim girls.

Orly has a full line of breathable polishes, too, that come in 18 shades and are awesome for every girl. They also contain beneficial ingredients like vitamin B5, argan oil and vitamin C which eliminates the need for a top or base coat.

Our top 5 fave colors in the Orly Breathable Treatment + Color line:

Nourishing Nude: Nude colored nail polish screams sophistication and elegance. Even Princess Kate Middleton love a nude nail.

The Antidote: This deep burgundy color is perfect for the girl who wants a bit of edge but isn't quite ready for the black-tip trend.

Fresh Start: Who doesn't need a fresh start? This gorgeous pastel polish is so refreshing and mellow.

Just Breathe: Just breathe breathable nail polish, no pun intended. This perky periwinkle nail polish is fun and totally out of the box.

Happy And Healthy: Aside from “happy and heathy” being life goals, we couldn't end the list without a popping pink hue complete with argan oil to keep your tips in tip-top shape.
