5 creative ways to hang out with friends while social distancing

Social distancing doesn't mean you have to lose your entire social life for the next few weeks! There are plenty of ways you and your squad can spend time together...even if you're not *actually* together. Keep reading for our top 5 ideas to keep your crew close (even when you're far away)...

1. Start a book club

If you and your friends are bookworms, start your own book club! Agree to read a certain chapter every few days and then talk to each other about the book. You can video chat, text or even call each other—whatever works best for you. You'll be social, studious and entertained all in the comfort of your own home!

2. Netflix Party

Netflix Party is a Google Chrome extension that lets you and your friends watch the same Netflix show at the same time. It even includes a chat box so you and your besties can talk while watching your latest faves! Pop some popcorn and throw on your PJs because you'll never want to turn this off.

3. Write each other letters

Nothing says "I'm thinking of you" like a handwritten letter! Take turns writing to your friends and see how thoughtful letters truly are. You'll be waiting by the mailbox for your next one, and you can keep them forever!

4. Make a Spotify playlist

Spotify has a feature called collaborative playlists where you and your friends can all add songs to the same playlist! Alert your squad, add some songs and soon you'll have a very special playlist that reminds you of your best friends. Bonus: Make your playlist title a *hilarious* inside joke only your crew would get.

5. Play truth or dare

Nothing will get you and your friends laughing like a game of truth or dare. Start a video call, get the game ready and before you know it the social distancing period will be over!

You don't have to be with someone in person to make memories that will last forever. During this time, try to be creative and find new ways to hang out with your friends!
