With YOLO as the motto, we know it’s important to have fun! You only live once and you wanna make the most of it, right? Dancing with friends and asking out your crush are perfect ways to live by the motto, but when is it a good time to step back and say, “oh, no”? We have tips to let you live every day to the fullest, without regrets.
Just do it. Why? YOLO! Er, wrong.
You’re at the park with friends and your crush dares you to bike down a flight of stairs. You barely know how to ride a two wheeler, but it’s your crush! He’s finally paying attention to you and you don’t want to let him down. YOLO, right? Wrong. Don’t risk your life to impress some cutie. If he’s a good guy, he’ll heart how smart you are and respect that you do what you want. Besides, you only live once and you don’t want to waste weeks of that life in crutches! Be smart, just say, “Oh no! But I’ll race you to the ice cream store instead.” Your friends will love how spontaneous you are and forget all about the risky stunts.

After a long school day, you’re thrilled to get froyo with the ‘rents. Once you finally come home, your BFF invites you over for the PLL season premiere. Although you have loads of homework, you are NOT going to miss this episode. What’s one more night of skipping this research paper about Tom Sawyer? He’s not going anywhere and after all, YOLO. By the time the paper is due, you barely have a rough draft and your report card will not make mom and dad happy campers. Procrastinating is not a good way to seize the day. Because you only live once, you will not get a do-over on this assignment. Taking a break after school is important to relieve stress, but don’t let it get out of hand. Try doing one activity when you get home and then finish your school work before watching TV. Living once means you have to get it right the first time. No regrets!
