Help for Flat Hair!
Every time I straighten my hair, it gets flat two seconds after I’m done.
I want straight hair, but don’t want it to look limp.
Help!
There are a few tricks to making flat hair plump and voluminous—and still stick-straight. Hint: Drop the flat iron!
Start by shampooing and working a volumizing conditioner into your locks. I like Tresemme products because they give great results and they're affordable.

Once you’re outta the shower, prep your locks with a volumizing mousse. Our fave is a little pricey, but adds serious lift.
Volumizing Spray Mousse, $21, ulta.com
Next, blow dry your hair, brushing it out with a round brush as you go. You’ll straighten and smooth your strands—but still get that extra oomph.
If you’re pulling your hair up, you can use a brush to lightly tease hair at the crown. Or, wind hair around hot rollers for dressy occasions. Use your fingers to loosen the curls and—viola—major lift, girlie!
