I have no time to work out!

I am going to start the GL Healthy You Program this upcoming year, but there seems to be a problem. I don't have time to workout. I can't in the morning or after school. The weekends are too short and won't be as helpful as working out every day. I also can't go to gym. What should I do?

It’s important to remember that when it comes to working out, every bit counts and results aren’t overnight. Even if you only have 10 free minutes in an entire day (which I am sure you do) you can incorporate exercise somehow.

Before you go to bed do fifteen push ups, while you’re watching TV do fifty sit-ups. If you’re reading for homework you can easily do a few curls with a three-pound weight. When you’re at school, take the stairs.

And the weekends are perfect for lengthier stuff. Go for a 20-minute power walk around your neighborhood or get your friends together for a game of capture the flag. Anything that gets your heart rate up is exercise.

You don’t have to go to a gym to work out. Even if you just dance around your room for 30 minutes you’re burning calories. Getting creative and incorporating these little things can make a BIG difference into your usually routine.

Check out Workouts under G-Life to get some easy moves that you can do almost anywhere.
