8 fun facts about Zeke and Luther's Ryan Newman
Have you checked out the new season of Disney XD’s Zeke and Luther yet? If you haven’t seen the fab hit show, it follows two teen boys (Zeke and Luther) as they struggle to make their skateboarding dreams a reality. 11-year-old Ryan Newman plays Ginger, the annoying little sis of Zeke (played by cutie Hutch Dano).
We chatted with the starlet out in L.A. and she gave us the scoop on music, phobias and her obsession with cheese. Check it out…
1. She is nothing like her character on Disney XD “It’s fun because I’m not really like [Ginger] very much. To be that kind of character and pull pranks, which I would never ever, ever, do in real life [is cool]. Ginger is very outspoken and she definitely tells everything that’s on her mind, and I’m not really like that.”
2. She’s a major T-Swift fan “I really like her songs ‘Breathe’ and ‘You Belong With Me.’”
6. She’s totally into sports “I like sports! I’m not an athlete or anything. I can’t do the splits [and] I can barely do a cartwheel. But I like swimming, skateboarding, tennis and dance.”
7. She loves laughin’ with her BFF “My best friend is very funny. She’s goofy. She’s one door away from me, so I’ll just go knock on her door and we’ll ride our skateboards, or bikes or go on her trampoline.”
8. She used to be shy! “When I was really young, I used to be shy. And then since I wanted to start acting, my parents were like, ‘You can’t do that being shy.’ Automatically, I just was not shy ever again.”

4. She’s terrified of spiders and snakes “I don’t like spiders, I don’t like snakes, I don’t like insects. They scare me!”5. She’s a cheese-aholic “I love cheese.” Especially parmesan, she told us. “I [also] love pizza and macaroni.”
