First of all, think about what kissing means to you. Is it something you think you just have to do because you’ve been going out with your BF for some time? Is it a way of showing that you’re old enough to take the next step? Or is kissing a way to show how you really feel about your BF? Try thinking about it the other way around too. Do you like your BF that much to want to kiss him? Think about it and that’ll help you get your mind straight about kissing.

The Next Step

Another factor to consider? The relationship between you and your BF. The first advice was all about you and what’s going on in your head. The next step is to know what the guys thinking. That doesn’t mean you should go up to him and ask, “Hey, you wanna kiss me?” BIG no-no. What you want to do though is to make sure he feels comfortable enough. Try seeing how he reacts when you two are alone and it’ll show whether or not he wants to and is ready for the kiss.

Forecast the Future

Lastly, think into the future for a sec. In other words, ask yourself some imaginative questions: “Is this the guy I want to remember as my first kiss? In the future, whether I’m still with him or not, am I gonna cherish this kiss or regret it?” Depending on this answer, you should be able to make up your mind. ;)
