Period signs but no period

I'm 13 and have been getting discharge for a while, but I haven't gotten my period yet. Should I worry?

Don't fret. Lots of girls start having discharge six months to a year before getting their periods, but that's not to say it works the same for everyone.
Really, discharge is just another sign that your body is changing-just like a growth spurt or breast development. These things take time, so as long as you're noticing other changes in your bod (and the substance you're seeing isn't discolored, lumpy or has a foul odor), it's likely everything's normal.
Still haven't started your period by 16 or so? Then it's time to pay your doc a visit.
