Play Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4

Eek! Are you a fan of all the Harry Potter books? Super excited for the next movie to come out this November? If you’re totes having a hard time waiting for the second-to-last film to come out just like we are (the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows release will be oh-so-bittersweet, we know), then you may heart the new LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 video game.

Currently available for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, PSP and Games for Windows PC, I was eager to try it out on my Xbox 360 console and I totally loved how it has refreshed my memory of the franchise. It sure can be super hard to remember what has happened since the last few books ended and the last few movies are about to begin. But this game helped work through the gaps.

There were many other reasons why I loved this game. It’s fun to play with your girls or your boys, Harry Potter pros or novices alike and even your sibs! I ended up playing with my eight-year- old little bro and 14-year-old sis. Shockingly, we all had a blast!

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 has great graphics—all of the characters are there and portrayed as super cool-looking LEGO pieces! From Harry or Hagrid to Hermione or Ron or even Scabbers the Rat, players are able to be any of their favorite characters from the books. My bro was obsessed with trying to collect Harry’s gold and silver coins as we made our way from level to level (each went in order from the beginning, of course). Going through each major event in Harry’s first few years at Howgarts was the highlight of the entire experience.

Be sure to check out LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (available now) and let us know your thoughts.

Who’s your favorite Harry Potter character? Blog about it, babes.
