Yep, it's officially time for lunch on the go. If you bring lunch to school, it's key to mix it up (say "No!" to a years-long turkey and cheese streak). We whipped up a few healthy ideas to get started. Share you fave midday meals below!

A Slice of Heaven: PB & Dates

Yes! A sweet spin on a classic sammie. Slap peanut butter on some wheat bread. Instead of using jam, sprinkle a few dates on the PB. Wanna up the nutrition factor even more? Add a couple of banana wheels.

Opt for a crunchy side of broccoli dipped in hummus. Yum.

All-Star Salad: Cobb Gets Healthy

Start with some mixed lettuces (the more variety, the better!). Then, add Cobb staples, like avocado, tomato, onion and grilled chicken. Skip over the bacon and rich dressings and, instead, opt for a lighter balsamic vinaigrette.

For dessert? Try some dried mangoes and pineapples.

An Improved Pocket: Super Yummy Tuna

Tuna salad can be nutritious, as long as you don't drown it in mayo. Instead, opt to use a little drizzle of olive oil when concocting the Don't forget to add in celery and tomatoes for extra crunch.

To avoid total sogginess by midday, tote your salad in a Tupperware container. Then, spoon it into a whole-wheat pita pocket at lunch. Add some awesome greens to up the nutritional value.

For a poppin' side, have some popcorn!
