Behind-the-Scenes of Pair of Kings

Disney XD’s new live-action comedy series Pair of Kings premieres tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Are you going to watch?

We got to hang with the cast on the show’s L.A. set and had them spill on everything from what’s cooking (literally) in between takes to the off-screen creepy happenings. Check it out…

Set Secret #1: Stars Mitchel Musso and Doc Shaw gave everyone an April Fool’s treat. “They acted like they didn’t like each other for a day and we were all tripping out. It was really scary [because] they’re like best friends [in real life].”—Ryan Ochoa (aka Lanny)

Set Secret #2: The craft service area dishes some delicious food. “The craft service lady makes French toast usually on Tuesdays or Thursdays. I always make sure I come in early those days [because] it’s always good.”—Doc Shaw (aka Boomer)

Set Secret #3: Mitchel Musso’s dressing room is the place to score extra snacks. “I have more snacks in my bathroom than I do in the craft room. I like Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips and the Coca-Cola gummies. All my friends come in and raid the place.”—Mitchel Musso (aka Brady)

Set Secret #4: Expect to see a monster at some point this season. “You’ll have to stay tuned. It’s pretty creepy but lovable at the same time.”—Kelsey Chow (aka Mikayla)

Set Secret #5: Spooky things have happened. “I didn’t become very superstitious until [recently]. Mitchel and I saw this ladder and we sat there for five minutes waiting to see who would go under it. We decided we’d both go [but] I think Mitchel had his fingers crossed or something [because] the next day, on tape day, I caught strep throat. Now I’m watching everything I do. I’m not going to walk under any ladders ever again.”—Doc Shaw

Be sure to tune in to Pair of Kings tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Disney XD then come back and let us know your thoughts.
