Football Queen
Who knew that a football star could also be named Homecoming Queen? Well, last Friday in Ohio, Jackie Kasburg made some serious headlines. While most girls opted to watch the big football game from the stands, Jackie was out on the field rockin’ pink cleats and scoring points for her team. If that's not awesome enough, Jackie was also named Homecoming Queen at that same game.
It's hard to believe that last Friday was her first game since she nailed all her point-after touchdown kicks. She may only be 140 pounds and 5’6" but she sure isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Jackie landed her spot on the team by outperforming the former kicker. So, clearly she's got some major skills. Coaches are still trying to figure out if anyone else hold the dual title of Homecoming Queen and star kicker.
Either way, we think it’s beyond cool that Jackie is tearing it up on all fronts.
