On a dark night not so very long ago, a teenage couple went for a stroll through the woods. It was their one-year anniversary and they were having a lovely time walking in the light of the full moon.

As they leaned in for a kiss, they suddenly heard a bloodcurdling scream, then a howl, then…complete silence. Too scared to move, they sat huddled together behind a tree, for they had no way to call for help. Silently they sat for seconds that felt like hours on end. The next thing they heard chilled them to the bone, for it was the sound of heavy breathing and the snaps of twigs being stepped on nearby.

A snarl and a guttural animal growl then echoed across the frightening space. Enormous yellow eyes came at the both of them through the fog as they cowered in fear. As they instinctively covered their faces with their hands, the beast lunged forward and the last thing they felt were its sharp teeth ripping into their flesh.
