Last night I was in the mood to cook. I was about to break out the butter and sugar and create a total cookie fest. And then I thought about it: If I’m trying to eat healthy and so are my BFFs, why would I make sweets? If you have the urge to get crafty in the kitchen this weekend, whip up something your bod will love ya for, like this yummy (and substantial!) salad.

A recent study found that eating veggies high in carotenoids makes your skin glow. Add a li’l red ‘n’ orange to your salad and you’re golden. Easy-peasy and no bronzer required.

Lately, we’ve been talking a lot about things that make us happy. Dancing kept popping up on all of our lists. Whether you practice a bit of ballet or just groove along to your fave tunes, take a few minutes to just break it down this afternoon. Or get creative and give belly dancing a whirl.
