8 fab things to do on Pi Day

Happy Pi Day, babes! Every year, March 14—ahem, 3/14 for the 3.14 ratio—welcomes in pie baking contests, homemade t-shirt designs and wacky pi-related projects in math classes across the nation. We’ve gotten in on the act with 3 + 1+ 4 fantasmic things you can do to celebrate the day.

3 fun things to do

Smooch a mathematician. The Irish have St. Patrick’s Day, so why not give the braniacs in your life a li’l love? Pucker up for that not-so-nerdy guy in your geometry class. Or, ya know, offer up some Hershey’s kisses, instead.

Use sticky notes to turn a clock Pi Day proud with radians instead of standard numerals. Take a look at this piday.org product to point ya in the right direction, or buy the Clock in Terms of Pi now for $14.

Go crazy—crazy hair, that is. Pi Day just so happens to fall on Albert Einstein’s birthday. Celebrate in true genius fashion by teasing up your hair. Bonus points for powdering it white. Grab a lab coat, or decorate a plain t-shirt with puff paint. Think numbers. Lotsa numbers.
