"For You" - An original poem

Hey hunnies! Here's an original poem written by GL reader Izzy. She wants to dedicate it to all the girls out there who have rushed into relationships.
"For You"
The car sputtered as it came to start
I chased the thief who stole my heart
racing the streets at a breakneck pace
enjoying every moment of this wild chase
until he turned around and crashed into me
shattering everything I've believed
I thought I was dead
but then I saw your face instead

But that was when I couldn't see
through the tears that blinded me
now my vision is crystal clear
I want to be anywhere but here
these emotions are so wrong
we've only just started to get along
your feelings for me are unclouded
while mine for you can be doubted

I don't know what I'm trying to say
Because I said "I love you" today
but I confused love with being in love
and desire for you is what I'm empty of
but since you love me clear and true
I'll make this work somehow, for you
I can hide these feelings from your beautiful soul
Because I'm an actress, and this is just another role
