Different on the Outside

By Elvira S.

She flashes a smile, at you and me,
looking perfect is the key.
But deep down inside, she is hurt and sad,
friends and family drive her mad.
The washroom stall is full of tears,
she is alone, with not one peer.

Like a Barbie so perfect and bright,
really she isn't feeling right.
The jealous in you comes alive,
but think again, her life is just a lie.
