Derma Drama!

I have this thing on my face called eczema. It's really itchy and looks so weird. I have tried a lot of lotions but they never work. I always have to wear long sleeves. What should I do?

If the lotions you’re using aren’t working, it may be time to schedule an appointment with either your regular doctor, or a dermatologist, a skin doctor. Eczema is a type of inflammation on the outer layers of your skin.

There are different types of treatments you can use, such as medication, anti-biotics or other anti-itch drugs to reduce the itching. One of the best ways and most important treatments in reducing eczema is to moisturize regularly. When you visit your doctor, be sure to ask about specific eczema and skin cleansers to help reduce the inflammation.

But remember, puberty is a time when your body is going through a lot of changes. Unfortunately, problems with your skin such as acne or eczema can be a part of that change. And don’t forget, it happens to everyone and it definitely does not change who you are.
