Why Do I Cry?

Lately I have been wanting to cry a lot. I don't even know why. I'm loving my life and have been all year, but sometimes I feel the tears coming on and I get real sad, but I can't ever figure out why.

DON'T be alarmed, this can be as simple as your body changing. I know some of our 'rents may joke around when we get a little out of control and say "Ah, it's just their hormones," but there may be some truth to this old-school saying. Unforts, pimples are just a small portion of what us girls have to face growing up. Your bodies going through a lot of changes right now, and one of the things that are majorly effected are your emotions.

So, girl, don't sweat it. You may feel like you're riding an emotional roller coaster 'cause of all the stress you're feelin' between school, guys, grades, your chicas....AHHH! And before you PANIC, know that this is perfectly normal.

When I was younger I used to like to play doctor and I once told my mom that I was bipolar because I had so many mood swings, but I was really just being overdramatic. My prob was that I had a huge workload and it made me feel out-of-control. Eventually I found ways to de-stress and fixed my super mood swings.

And it's perfectly OK to let it out and cry sometimes. Find other outlets for your stress like an after-school sport, listening to loud music, calling up your BFF for a vent sesh or jotting it down in your journal at the end of the day.

Give those stress busters a whirl and see if they work out for ya. If you still feel like your emotions aren't getting better, maybe then it's time to ask your 'rents about maybe seeing a doc.
