Maybe she didn’t invite you because things didn’t go so well last year – and she didn’t tell you because she didn’t want to hurt you. If your goal is to stay friends, don’t expect to be part of everything she does. Enjoy the time you do spend with her rather than worrying about who else she’s hanging with. I hope you two can resolve things, but keep making new friends. Not all friends are “friends ’till the end.” But some are.
