Rest Easy Recipe

I am constantly tired! I am 12 and get 9-10 hours of sleep every night, but I'm always yawning and feeling sluggish! I have tried everything from napping and relaxing to changing the amount of hours I sleep. I am a very active person emotionally, so I can't bear not feeling alert and energized! What can I do?

Girl, you are missing out on one extremely important activity: exercise! Your body needs exercise to feel more energized and active. Try going for morning runs or even a short workout before heading into the shower. After school, you can go jogging with a friend. But just exercising won't do the trick.

You also have to keep up a healthy diet. Exercising without the proper nutrients will zap the energy outta ya! Eat big breakfasts, healthy lunches and light dinners with daily exercise! Your energy levels will be bouncin' off the walls, girlie! BE ACTIVE!
