Pop-Rock Princess Just Kait

Just Kait, the performance alias of Kaitlyn Di Benedetto, is about to fall right between the Jonas Brothers and JT on your iPod. A mix of pop and rock with a healthy dose of synth lines, Just Kait’s digital EP Being On TV will be released on August 11th.
“Yeah, we’re all that,” Kait sings at the end of the chorus of her single, “Sick.” Well, we don’t know who “they” are, but we def think that Kait is all that. Quite literally, Kait is all that you hear on her EP. A skilled guitarist, bassist and drummer rolled into one 17-year-old girl, Kait plays all of the instruments on the single. With her inherent instrumental talent and powerful vocals, it’s no wonder she’s being touted as a pop-rock prodigy.

Recently, Just Kait was featured on MTV as the network’s weekly Discover and Download artist. She’s been playing, writing and performing music for a while now—she first started playing drums when she was just 5!
All four of the songs on Being On TV are feisty and full of energy. “Love Trying” is our fave—it’s catchy and completely relatable to anyone who has gone through a rollercoaster relationship (um, everyone!). “Being On TV,” “Heart Shaped Bruise” and “Sick” round out the EP, all of which are radio-ready pop-rock anthems.
