My pad always shifts!

My pad always moves around and I feel like I’m going to leak. Is there anything else I can do to help it stay in place? Please don’t say wear tampons, I don't like them.
-Pad Problems

Hey girl!

No one wants to have leakage during their period. It’s important to feel comfy! Here’s the 411 on the best pad protection and some other options so that you feel safe.

Your pad shouldn’t move that much because they have sticky backs, but pads with wings are extra sturdy. The flexible wings are sticky and wrap around your panties, so the pad won’t move at all. You can find any size pad with wings at your local drugstore.

It’s best to change your pad every 2-4 hours. If you are scared of leaking, then you can change it more often. The decision is up to you, but if you have a heavier flow you might want to change it more frequently.

There is always the option of tampons. Which can be hard to get used to, but with practice they get easier. If you break in tampons, then you can double up with a pad and tampon for extra protection.

Good Luck!
Eryn
