Workout DVDs to Avoid Exercising in the Cold!

I don’t know if it’s cold where you live, but here in Baltimore it feels about twenty degrees below zero. I’m all about running in chilly weather, but this is even too much for me! Time to take my exercise inside.
 
Recently, I’ve been trying new workout DVDs to avoid freezing. My current fave? The Firm Bootcamp—it’s high energy and fast-paced, but not too confusing (I def trip a lot during dance-y DVDs!).
 
The Firm Bootcamp combines cardio blasts with some light weightlifting. I’m not gonna lie—I was sweating within a few minutes of getting started. The super-fit instructor on the DVD is totally peppy, which I like (is it so bad that I don’t wanna be yelled at Biggest Loser style?) and there are ways to make the moves easier if they get too difficult. 
 
The downside? Um, there’s no real bootcamp aspect to this workout. It’s a great calorie-buster but I didn’t feel that butt-kicking, whip-ya-into-shape vibe that I expect out of military-inspired exercise. But if you wanna sweat it out indoors and get in a full-body workout, this DVD is a good bet.
