Style guide: figure out the perfect way to express *yourself*

There are many different styles of fashion—all of which express who you are. Fashion is one of the many things that makes *you* stand out. But sometimes it's hard to decipher what exactly you like. Follow our style guide for the most common types. You may find you have an affinity for one style or you like to mix 'n' match! the best part about fashion is that there's no wrong way to do it.

Ultra chic
If you tend to buy clothes that are the latest trend, then your style is chic. You like to stay on top of fashion trends, but don't necessarily have all of the latest clothes. You like to work with what you've got and you like to look as fashionable as you possibly can.

Breezy bohemian
The hippie-inspired boho look consists of flowly fabrics, natural earth colors, floral patterns and layered accessories. Many people who wear bohemian style clothes try to only buy natural fabrics like cotton and linen. Pro tip: choose your outfit carefully as the patterns, fringe and feathers can become too much, too fast.

Perfectly preppy
If Blair Waldorf is your ultimate style icon than you're definitely preppy. Classic jeans, hairbands, blouses and pearls are staple pieces of this look. This style always looks put together and is an American classic. The colors for preppy style are simple like white, navy, red and light pastels.

Sweet vintage
Vintage clothing is anything that is 20 years or older, so around the '90s and '80s. If you like to raid Mom's closet and go thrifting you'll definitely find vintage clothing enchanting. Vintage style depends on the era that you get the clothes so it's different for each one. The '90s lived through a lot of grunge style clothes like flannels, ripped jeans and Doc Martens, while clothing in the '70s was more colorful and flowly like the Bohemian style.

Super artsy
Artsy style or street fashion is the most individualistic of the styles because it's about expressing yourself through your clothes. If you like to make a statement with your clothes or if you like to make your own clothes then you might have an artsy style. This style consists of a lot of colors, patterns and different fabrics with a super creative twist.

The best way to determine your style? Try a few out and see what you like! It could be just one or a combination of a couple different ones. All that matters is if you feel happy and comfortable in what you wear.
