You need these charitable LGBTQ+ clothes for Pride month

Happy Pride Month, y'all!

There's no better time than June to rock the rainbow. And whether you're wearing it to tell the world who you are or to show your support as an ally, there are almost endless ways to do it—from tees to tanks to buttons to hats...you name it and it's out there somewhere with a rainbow on it.

But celebrating Pride—and supporting the LGBTQ+ community—is about more than just slaying in ROYGBIV. It's a time to contribute to the organizations and help to create change in the community. And as the LGBTQ+ community often finds itself up against adversity, this June, let's keep in mind the charities and organizations that are working to uplift its members.

One super cinchy way to do that? Through fashion. There *so* many stores and brands that have created Pride collections and have promised to give some or all of the proceeds from the collection to various orgs. Cute *and* charitable? Into it!

Here are just a few of the clothing stores working to make a change:

AE Pride Graphic Tee, $20

Yes 👏🏿 it 👏🏿 is! 100 percent of the sales from American Eagle's Pride collection will benefit the It Gets Better Project.

J. Crew X Human Rights Campaign Love First T-shirt, $35

J. Crew will donate 50 percent of an items' purchase price from their Pride collection (like this adorable ombre shirt!) to the Human Rights Campaign, the civil rights organization that works for LGBTQ+ saftey, equality and freedom.

H&M Sequin Shorts, $35

From tees to tanks to hats, H&M is giving 10 percent of the proceeds from their collection to the United Nations Human Rights Office's Free and Equal Campaign, fighting for the rights of all members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Levi's collection of pride items feature more than just demin, they have shirts, belts, bandanas, socks and shoes, too! All (yes, all!) the money made from the collection goes towards the Harvey Milk Foundation and the Stonewall Community Foundation

For every purchase from Urban Outfitters' Pride collection, $10 will be donated to the GLSEN. Everyone needs a fab carryall tote, no?
