Our cruelty-free beauty faves

We know GL readers love makeup, but we also know how much you all love to help out the environment.  Here are some easy ways to do both. All of the products below are from brands that are cruelty-free, meaning they don’t test on animals. PETA has lists of all companies that do and don’t test on animals, so if you’re curious about your fave brands, head to PETA.org for more info. Here are ours!

Yes to…

You’ve gotta love a brand that sets out to make quality stuff that you can get without emptying your wallet.  They “Yes to” brands have products for every skin and hair type, so they’ve gotcha covered no matter what your problem spots are. The Yes to Tomatoes pore scrub is gentle enough for every day (even on sensitive skin!), but it’s packed with tons of ingredients that send pimples packing.

Too Faced

Eye shadow palettes are great ‘cause they give you a ton of colors for way less than you would spend getting each one individually.  Too Faced palettes are a bit of a splurge, but you get 9 colors that go with absolutely anything.  The palettes even include little cheat sheets that show you different ways to rock the shadows, so you’ll be pumped to pull it out at every opportunity.  This palette is a great way to get some basic colors in your makeup bag that you can always depend on.
