Step 1: To begin, use an eye shadow primer for a look that will last till midnight and beyond!
Try: NYX Eye Shadow Base $7 ulta.com

Step 2: Next, swipe a metallic bronze shadow across the lids of your eyes and continue to blend past the outer corners of your eyes. Go ahead and outline your lower lash line with the shade too, for an extra pop of intensity.

Try: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers in Taupe $4, drugstore.com

Step 3: Then, highlight the inner corners of your eyes and across your brow bone.
Try: Femme Couture Mineral Effects Baked Highlighter $8, sallybeauty.com

Tip: You can also use this versatile product to highlight your cheekbones.

Step 4: To create the dramatic liner effect, it’s best to use a liner pencil with a built-in smudger for blending. Start on the inner corner of your eye and trace just above the crease of your eyelid. Stop about halfway across your eyelid and blend out the end of the line you just created. Then, create the bottom line by tracing from the middle of your upper lash line out towards the outer corner of your eye. From this endpoint, create a short, sharp wing, and extend it below your lower lash line. Make sure you don’t underline your full lower lashline, think of it more like a cat eye with an extended tail.

Try: Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer, Emerald Sparkle $6, drugstore.com

Step 5: Finish with two coats of your favorite black mascara.
