    French braid

Start with a shower. Afterwards, apply a smoothing balm to your damp hair. Comb the balm through your strands and create your usual part (side parts work best for this look). Reach behind your head and start your French braid just above the top of your neck, braiding back and down. Finish up by securing with a ponytail holder and hopping into bed because when you wake up, you’ll be left with gorgeous waves.

    Pinned twists

Blow dry your damp hair until it’s just about done, but not quite dry. Then, take sections of your hair and twist them around two fingers like you would a curling iron. While doing so, gently slide the hair off your finger so that you’re left with a tiny loop. Use a bobby pin to gently secure the loop of hair to your head and repeat. These sections should be all different sizes to create natural waves. Remember: the more hair you use, the bigger the curl will be when you unpin in the morning. Finally, run your fingers through your finished product and spritz with a sea salt spray.

    Foam curlers

Foam curlers are a great way to achieve the perfect waves because they’re quick and easy to use. Start by blow-drying your hair until it’s almost dry, but not completely. Next, brush your hair out and add a mousse that will give your hair some hold. Then, take a 2” section of hair and wrap it around the foam curler. Make sure to wrap each piece of hair away from your face. Secure with the Velcro straps, and you’re good-to-go! When you remove the curlers in the morning, you’ll have beautiful and bouncy waves.

GL Tip: For a sleeker feel, add a drop of hair oil and comb through.
