Rose gold: Our new beauty obsession

We all know how great it can feel to change up your makeup routine. This season’s go-to look is definitely all things rose gold. Shimmery gold will make you feel glamorous and the pinky tones will keep you glowing even as the colder weather creeps in. We’ve collected six looks and pretty products that can work for any skin tone.

    Intense neutral

Katy Perry’s look is great for those who like a serious eye look but still want things to feel pretty neutral. The rose-gold shadow built up around the eye makes the peepers pop, while heavy lashes give depth to the face and definition in the sea of gold. To get this look use L’Oreal Paris Infallible eye shadow over the entire lid and along the lower lash line. Top it off with a little bit of liner on the top lid, and load up on that mascara.

    Overall glow

This light and shimmering look high lights the structure of your face in all the right places. To get this look, use a blush brush and Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strip bronzer. Apply around eyes, below brows, and along cheekbones. Keep the shimmer as an accent and make sure to keep it away from underneath the eyes or around the mouth or nose. Use mascara to accent your lashes and you’re good to go.

    Glamorous nude eye

This look is perfect for those who want to feel and look done-up, but don’t want things to be too heavy. To get this look, use Physicians Formula Nude Shimmer Shadow and apply the lightest colors in the palette all over lid and up into the brows. Use the applicator to gradually bring the shadow down the bridge of your nose and out the corners of your eyes. Use a medium shade to accent the outer corner of the eye, and then top it off with some mascara.

    Goddess lips

We love that Charlize Theron’s hue isn’t too far off from your natural color, but still gives your look a finished, polished feel. To get this look use Maybelline Color Sensational The Buffs Lip Color all over your pucker.

    Smokey gold

To get Demi’s bold look use Sonia Kashuk’s eye shadow quad, and start with the lightest color at the corners of the eyes and then build in with the darker colors, keeping the darkest color mostly at the outer corners of the eyes. Take one of the medium colors and apply it along the lower lid, from the inner corner to the outer corner. Then use the Almay Intense i-Color Stick, and apply it along the top lash line keeping it along the outer corner. Finish the look off with lots of mascara and you are ready for the night!

    Fingers dipped in gold

Gold nails are a serious trend right now, and are equally perfect for school, the big dance or even for weekend fun. All you need to get this look is some rose gold nail polish, and enough time to let it dry. Use Essie’s Penny Talk nail polish, and you’ll be dipped in coppery goodness.
