MAC's new makeup is out of this world
“For everything, there is a first time.” That includes MAC’s new sci-fi themed makeup line, which is being launched in September to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous series Star Trek.
The 25-piece collection will include galactic and supernatural style shades and colors that are likely to make us all feel a little out of this world! Each lipstick, lipgloss, pressed pigment eye shadow and studio nail laquer will also have their own glittering metallic hues.
According to Us Magazine, the awesome female characters from the original film—who pushed gender and racial boundaries in their time periods—inspired the new makeup.
“For its 50th anniversary, we celebrate each of Star Trek’s powerful women in a transcending, transformational makeup collection,” said MAC Senior Vice President James Gager.
And while September may seem a life-time away, there is some good news: MAC will share a limited sneak peek event on July 21 where you can stock up on your favorites (a day before the remake comes out in theaters!).
