Fall beauty looks to steal from the runway (and how to wear them)
Fashion shows don’t only give us a glimpse at the new clothing trends, they show us what’s hot in the beauty world, too. But TBH, those amaze looks you see on models can be a bit hard to pull off. To help you take the runway to the hallway, here are our top tips for fabbing up your fall face IRL.
Instead of an eyelid that looks like its been made of metal, try a subtle wash of gold shadow. If you want to intensify the look, dip your finger into a little bit of water, dive into the shadow, and swipe onto the lid. Adding water will give the pigment a bolder finish.
Say goodbye to your basic winged eyeliner. Amp up the classic look by adding a double wing. Go about doing your winged eyeliner, then add liner to your bottom water line and follow through to the end of your top wing.
Lots of lashes
If you aren't already blessed with long lashes, try applying a few coats of mascara and focus the product on the outer edge for a dramatic illusion. If the mascara isn't giving you the look you want, try individual lashes. This way they are easier to apply and more natural looking.
Pulling off a pop of color may seem really intimidating at first glance, but adding some brightness via your liner or mascara shade can give you a super subtle swipe of color without looking too cray.
A pinch of pink
So a pink mascara is a bit too bold. That's fine...try a monochromatic pink makeup look, instead. Find a shade of pink that works for your skin type and swipe it on as eyeshdow, blush and a lipgloss. The look is soft, romantic and perf for every day.
A berry lip is a fall classic. If you're not ready to take the plunge with an opaque lipstick, opt for a tinted lip balm or sheer gloss. Add a bit to the cheeks for a more cohesive makeup look.
