WATCH: A Series of Unfortunate Events just got *way* stylish

Season two of A Series of Unfortunate Events premiered on Netflix on March 30—and now we're giving you closer look at all the amazing and, ahem, interesting outfits the characters wear in set.

Below, wardrobe designer Cynthia Summers and actress Malina Weissman, who plays Violet Baudelaire in the show, chat about the outfits different character wore this season: from faux fur (real fur is a no-no, for sure) to knife-embedded heels, the looks are far from unfortunate.

"Part of what makes this show so special are the incredible costumes, styles and looks featured in each episode that are unlike anything else you're going to see on TV," Malina says. "This season we got to experience different takes on Violet and Klaus’s personalities and they get very creative with disguises too. We even dress up as circus performers in one episode! I particularly loved Esmé’s (Lucy Punch) fashionably “in” costumes that took the second season to the next level. Her outfits are so much fun, and her character is our very own Cruella de Vil!"

Which costumes were your fave? Tell us in the comments!
