Love these looks: 2019 Met Gala

While there are plenty of awards shows throughout the year to remind us about the biggest and most successful names in music, television and film, there are fewer opportunities for us to have other art showcased as extravagently.

One night a year, however, art and fashion combine to create one of the most prestigious nights of the year: the annual MET Gala. The NYC event brings together some of the biggest stars in their finest looks, and it's probably the best evening of the year.

Check out our fave looks below!

Liza Koshy

Liza's hosting gig outfit on the MET carpet was giving us Pop-Tart vibes, and we're obsessed. Not only did she go totally campy for the big event, but she also went for a unique wrapped ponytail that reminded us why Koshy is queen. Plus, THOSE SHOES.

Lady Gaga

Gaga is highkey the queen of the carpet, and she knows it. The A Star is Born actress and singer took four looks to the MET Gala: first, a *huge* pink gown, then a black ballgown, followed by a slim pink bodycon dress with black sunglasses before baring it all in an edgy lingerie combo with heels. What. A. Queen.

Serena Williams

A co-chair of Camp, the tennis player did not disappoint with her campy look on the carpet. Along with many of the attendees, Williams went for a big, yellow gown that stole the show. In a signature athletic move, Williams paired the dramatic gown with a pair of yellow sneakers. YAS.

Harry Styles

Now being called the "king of camp," the One Direction alum went for a sheer Gucci outfit on the carpet. Styles was also one of the gala's co-chairs, putting him at the top of already v prestigious company, and we are here for it!

Karlie Kloss

The model went for something a little more chic and practical with a short gold dress and black, off-the-shoulder puffy sleeves. It pairs modern with classic, and Karlie's look is glam enough to be one of our fave looks of the evening.

Charli XCX

We're all for summer brights, and Charli XCX brought them to the carpet in a vibrant yellow gown. She paired the dress with a fierce red makeup look and dip-dyed hair, which we can def get behind.

We heart a good bodysuit, and the grown-ish actress def arrived in the lewk of our dreams. She paired the light blue piece with slightly sheer, shimmery tights and a pair of blocky, metallic heels. Plus, the feathery shawl is giving us serious boss vibes!

Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse may not be in Game of Thrones, but she certainly looked like the Dragon Queen in her red and green bodycon dress with flame accents on the shoulders. She kept her makeup subtle with a cute, shoulder-length haircut — p sure she was actually glowing!

Madelaine Petsch

The fiery redhead took the camp theme to heart, and we're obsessed. The CW star took on a light green gown, complete with a round petticoat and wings atop a fitted skirt. Along with blunt fringe and matching platform heels, we're very sure Madelaine could pull this off daily.

Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara, who is touring the U.S. with Shawn Mendes this year, graced the MET Gala with a new twist on the old black and white gown. Her tulle piece looked like it came straight out of a wedding magazine and, TBH, we'd buy it.

James Charles

The YouTube MUA pulled out a piece similar to Harry's look for the evening, opting for a barely-there top and dark pants. Makeup looking flawless (obvi), James added a black bandana around his neck to complete the edgy look.

Cole Sprouse and Lily Reinhart

The Riverdale couple walked the MET carpet going, as Lili put it, "camping." The pair went over-the-top with their lewks, serving up some tulle in Lili's dress and a fun, sheer floral pattern in Cole's outfit. It's their second year at the gala, and it just keeps. getting. better.

Riding on the wave of his new single "If I Can't Have You," the swoon-worthy singer took the simplistic route: an all-black suit with subtle white accents. Love!

Halsey looked like a movie star in the two-piece red gown she rocked at last night's gala. The "Without Me" performer paired the look with some solid gold bracelets and armbands, keeping shimmery accessories at the forefront of the outfit. Not campy, but def glam!

Gigi Hadid

This runway queen graced the MET carpet wearing a skintight white suit that is both fierce and fringe-heavy. Although Gigi walked the carpet alone on Monday night, she served enough campy looks for everyone to share!

Dua Lipa

Following this year's theme to a T, the "Swan Song" artist was looking campy and regal in this peacock-colored gown (complete with a long train!). Dua didn't do much accessorizing, but her dress was perfectly paired with a hair tease and a headband of jewels. Obsessed!

Camila Mendes

This queen in yellow walked the MET carpet with her Riverdale co-star + boyf Charles Melton, but Cami was the star of the show with this feathery piece. Her perf-for-spring blue and yellow makeup pulled the color palette together, making Camila look radiant on the carpet.

Kacey Musgraves

The "Golden Hour" singer was looking Barbie-chic in this long, pink coat dress with a thigh-high slit. Carrying pink sunglasses and a hair dryer purse, Kacey topped off this perfectly Dolly look with some metallic heels. We *love* this!
