A timeline of the fashion evolution of Lana Condor
From red carpet premieres to glamorous photoshoots, Lana Condor has slayed *every* outfit since the start of her career. Since the debut of her role as Lara Jean in To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Lana has blessed us with various looks—from pantsuits to luxurious gowns—certifying her place as a fashion icon.
X-Men: Apocalypse Premiere (2016)
The first time the world met Lana was during her acting debut as Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse. Never one to back away from the spotlight, Lana was found strutting the red carpet at the movie’s premiere wearing a nude, open-back gown with a sharp white winged eyeliner. We know one thing for sure—Lana dazzled us then and she still dazzles us now.
Ravishing in red (2018)
Even though Lana swears she isn't this fashionable in real life, her impeccable taste in clothes and accessories says otherwise. The red Valentino gown she wore for this photoshoot with People Magazine was accentuated by chunky gold earrings, nude lipstick and *fabulous* smokey eye, leaving us wondering if there is any style Lana can't rock. (Spoiler: we doubt it.)
To All the Boys I've Loved Before Premiere (2018)
Lana stole the show at the premiere of To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Her floral dress was oh-so-chic, especially when paired with nude heels and understated jewelry. In the photo above, Lana is joined by Jenny Han, the author of the TATBILB series. We can all thank Jenny for creating some of our most *beloved* characters—looking at you, Lara Jean.
Pantsuit Era (2019)
Taking a break from ball gowns and mini dresses, Lana donned this pantsuit at Julia Roberts’ “Talents and Legends” dinner in January of 2019. She enhanced the look by pairing her emerald suit with silver jewelry, a metallic clutch and a new sleek bob. How refined!
Met Gala (2019)
Is there anything she can't pull off? Lana looked as though she walked straight out of a fairy tale in this pink tulle Giambattista Valli Couture dress at the 2019 Met Gala. Even though she lost her purse in the giant asymmetrical ruffles of the dress, Lana has repeatedly called the event "magical"—and we can only assume she feels the same way about her attire.
Whimsical in yellow (2020)
Lana wore a cozy yellow sweatshirt for her photoshoot for InStyle Magazine back in Feb. 2020. The sweatshirt by Oak + Fort was a perfect fit for the photoshoots girl next door/homey vibe.
P.S. I Still Love You Premiere (2020)
Lana rocked the pink carpet with this puffy, black and white polka dot Valentino dress and matching black pumps at the premiere of the second installment of TATBILB sequel P.S. I Still Love You. So chic!
Vanity Fair Oscar Party (2020)
Back at it again with another stunning black gown by Jenny Packham, Lara dazzled at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party back in 2020. “@VanityFair always an honor & a dream,” Lana captioned her post from the event.
The legendary "Swuit" (2020)
Who would have thought combining comfy + professional would look oh-so-cute. Lana wore a grey suit made from sweat suit material calling it a “swuit” in her insta post, a cute reference from tv show New Girl.
First Vogue shoot (2020)
Lana glowed in Vogue Singapore’s beach photoshoot wearing a Ulla Johnson ruffle blouse and skirt. Putting on a radiant smile for her first Vogue cover, there is no doubt that she felt as happy as she looked.
