We're calling it: TikTok's latest trend, mermaidcore, is totally going to make ~waves~ this summer. And given the recent release of the live-action movie The Little Mermaid (which btw, we are obsessing over), it's no surprise that the aesthetic has quickly risen to popularity across social media.
