Must List

WATCH: Nia Sioux has the "Best Christmas" in her new holiday music vid!

Go off, Nia! (But, like, in a holiday way...)

By this point in December, we're all knee-deep in holiday tunes. We've got another to add to your playlist: "Best Christmas" by Nia Sioux and Lela B.

In the vid, Nia and Lela do some BFF bonding by baking some cookies and doling them out to deserving friends, leave lovely notes in their neighborhood and volunteer at an animal shelter. Best Christmas, indeed!

With the end of 2018 in sight, we asked Nia to reflect on the year and what's ahead:

Girls' Life: What's your favorite memory of 2018?
Nia Sioux:
2018 was one for the books, and I have so many amazing memories! One of the biggest would be joining the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as a series regular. Being able to join that family has been so fun and such a great learning experience for my acting career!

Moving to LA and getting my first apartment was also a huge step for me. A lot of people thought I lived in LA full time because I traveled there so much, but this year I made it official, which was scary and exciting all at the same time!

And finally, I would say adopting my adorable dog Sasha was the ending highlight of my 2018!

GL: Sounds like you've been *so* busy. What has 2018 taught you?
NS:
2018 has really tested my motto of "Know your worth." I have been through a lot of growing pains in 2018 and have learned a lot about myself and others. Another big takeaway is that you always have to stay true to yourself and love who you are as a person, and not let anyone take that away from you. You need to love and care for yourself before you can do that for anyone else and I really had to reiterate that to myself in 2018!

GL: What are you looking forward to most in 2019? Any goals you’ve set yourself?
NS:
I always set goals for myself because I love working and staying busy. I am looking forward to continuing acting and perfecting my craft as well as putting out new music and further developing my sound!

I will turn 18 in 2019 which is a huge birthday, and with that, comes new adult responsibilities and independence. I am ready for that next big step with all the excitement and challenges that it will entail.

I am also looking to spend more time doing charity work. I recently filmed at Best Friends Animal Society for this video, and that experience was so eye opening. I adore animals and want to do everything I can to ensure they get the attention, love and support that they deserve.
