Happy Map of the Soul: 7 day! These BTS moments will give you the feels

It's *officially* February 21, which means the new BTS albumMap of the Soul: 7, is here! The group promises that this is their most personal work yet. “It’s been seven years since our debut and we’ve got our seven members here, so seven is a special number for us,” RM said in an interview with James Corden. “We’ve practiced so hard for these tracks and the dance routines, of course. So please stay tuned for the album.” Um, we def will!

To celebrate release day, we're taking a walk down memory lane for some major moments in BTS's career so far.

BTS performs on SNL

Saturday Night Live has been on the air for over 40 years, and hundreds of the biggest acts in music have performed on the show's stage, so when BTS was the musical guest on April 13, 2019, it was a major signal that they had *officially* arrived in the U.S.

Their 2020 Grammy performance with Lil Nas X

The Grammys teased a performance by BTS this year, but their actual role in the show was kept under wraps until the big moment. During Lil Nas X's performance of "Old Town Road," the guys came out to perform the "Old Seoul Road" rendition—and stole the show.

When the boys presented H.E.R. with Best R&B Album at the 2019 Grammys

This is a v small appearance, but it made history. BTS is the first K-pop group to ever present a Grammy so, while it was def H.E.R.'s *big* moment, it's super sweet to know that the guys were having a special night, too!

When they stole the show with Burn the Stage: The Movie

This is not a moment, but BTS broke box office records that One Direction set with their documentary. If it wasn't clear already, the boys have obvi made a name for themselves across the world. It comes as no surprise that their new album is creating so much hype!

Their first live performance *ever*

The ultimate throwback: the first time the world saw BTS. Stans can tell just how much the group has grown from then to now, which makes it all the more exciting to see Map of the Soul: 7 as the comeback from a nearly two-year-long break.
