Catching up with the cast of Andi Mack: Where are they now?
Ever since the *incredible* season finale of Andi Mack last July, we have missed seeing the adorbs cast regularly on the Disney Channel. But don't worry! The cast is up to some cool new stuff and most won't be leaving the entertainment scene any time soon. Here's the status of all your favorite Andi Mack stars.
Peyton Elizabeth Lee
Peyton has been working on a starring role in a new Disney+ original movie titled Secret Society of Second Born Royals. We know Peyton is going to slay as the rebellious superhero princess Sam. Mark your calendars because this movie comes to Disney+ on September 25.
Peyton is still super close with her former Andi Mack castmates. She and Joshua Rush were pictured earlier this year having a blast at Disneyland.
Asher Angel
Asher Angel has been experiencing great success jumpstarting his music career this past year. He released three new bops in 2020, All Day, Chills, and Guilty. That's not to mention the collab with Wiz Khalifa (and vid featuring ex-GF Annie LeBlanc) we were all freaking out about last year. Asher is also working with DC Comics on Shazam! 2 which is scheduled for release in the spring of 2021.
Sofia Wylie
Sofia Wylie was recently featured in the Disney+ smash success series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. We instantly fell in love with her empowered character Gina, and liked how the series gave her a chance to show off her *amaze* dance skills. Get excited: Sofia is set to return for season two of the series.
Joshua Rush
In 2019, Joshua completed an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives—an opportunity that allowed him to see firsthand what Washington is like and make his voice heard in politics. Joshua will be taking a break from acting to continue his education at NYU in the fall of 2020. Congrats Joshua, NYU is lucky to have you!
Emily Skinner
Since her work on Andi Mack, Emily has acted in the web series Crown Lake and the film Next Level, which gives us definite Camp Rock vibes.
